The name Kumala comes from a combination of local tribal dialects and means ‘to do things differently’. Our wine is as diverse and ‘Kolourful’ as the land it comes from, bringing positive vibes in every glass through delicious quality wines.

Surrounding South Africa’s legendary Table Mountain is a place of lush fertility and natural beauty. This is the home of Kumala, where we make quality wines that are full of character. We source the best available fruits from vineyards dotted all over the five main regions of South Africa’s wine-producing land from all over the Western Cape to Olifants River, through Paarl and Stellenbosch to Worcester.
